Forward Existing Suddenlink Emails to Gmail

You can simply forward your past emails by:

1. Opening your email and clicking the Forward button.
2. Type your Gmail email address and then click the Forward button.

With this, you can forward one or two emails. It is not suitable for forwarding multiple emails. Instead of forwarding, try migrating your Suddenlink email to Gmail. To migrate your current Suddenlink or Optimum mailbox, enable the IMAP protocol. This is what can help you move your emails.

However, in the latest Gmail version, you cannot migrate a third-party email account to Gmail even though you are using IMAP. In that case, you have to use the help of a desktop email client to move your Optimum email to Gmail.

Move Suddenlink Email to Gmail with Desktop Email Client

Using your email client, configuring both your Suddenlink or Optimum email and Gmail allows you to transfer your emails. Here’s how you can do it.

1. Run your desktop client and log in.
2. Go to Account Settings, then click the Add Account option.
3. Enter your Optimum email address and password. Add your IMAP settings.
4. Then, connect your Suddenlink account. With these same steps, link your Gmail account.
5. Once you have synced them. Move the emails from Optimum folders to Gmail.

This only works if an email client is installed. If you don’t have it installed or are having problems syncing your account. You can try technical software.
